I realise that organising a wedding or other event can be stressful at the best of times, so our sympathy goes out to you at this time. To give you peace of mind regarding your cake order I have taken the present situation regarding COVID-19 into consideration and will endeavour to be as thoughtful and flexible as I possibly can.


As always, the safety and security of all my clients is very important to me. Iced innovations has a 5 star hygiene rating (the highest possible) so I am taking extra precautions to minimize any contamination. I have consulted with the Environmental Health Officer to keep abreast of any changes in their policies, at the moment they are not recommending any changes in our practices.


I would like to reassure you that I have plans in place to make sure I can fulfil your orders should any issues arise due to COVID-19. Iced Innovations is a member of a group of luxury cake designers, who are prepared to step in should I need to be in isolation, or become ill, even at the last minute.

Obviously you have chosen Iced Innovations because of the look and taste of the cakes, we cannot guarantee that the stand-in cake maker could replicate the exact design that you have chosen, but please be reassured that any cake we order on your behalf would be of a high standard. Of course if you wish to source your own alternative cake I fully understand.


In the circumstances that you wish to postpone your wedding up to a month before the day, we would be happy to transfer your deposit to another date (if available) up to 12 months from your original wedding date at no extra cost, however, Iced Innovations will require a 50% deposit to be paid to secure your new date.  If you need to postpone within 1 week of your wedding, a partial refund may be given depending on how much of the cake has been made/decorated. Should you be required to postpone a second time, you will be charged a £20 administration fee.


If you wish to cancel up to 1 month before your wedding, your deposit remains non-refundable due to work already completed on your order. If you cancel with less than a month's notice once the balance has been paid, we will give you a partial refund, depending on what equipment and ingredients have purchased in advance, or, if it is a very last minute cancellation, how much of the cake has been made/decorated.


I also cannot guarantee that the products we discussed for your wedding cake will be available but I will endeavour to deliver a cake as close to the design as possible but reserve the right to use alternative products if required.
